Think of all the ways we can link with these folks.  Our trash and garaged
and atticed boxes are their gold.

Greetings,

We here at the University of Illinois Press wanted to make you aware of a
publishing award with a fast-approaching deadline. We have partnered with
the Disability History Association to present the
https://www.press.uillinois.edu/books/disability_histories_prize.html
Outstanding Dissertation in Disability History Prize for recently defended
dissertations. I am writing to ask if you could please spread the news to
recent graduates or postdocs who have defended their dissertations between
January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2022 as we are hoping to bring more
attention to this opportunity.

The deadline to submit dissertations (or revised dissertations) is May 31,
2023. I acknowledge that the deadline is nearing and apologize for any
inconvenience. Accordingly, I urge any interested doctoral graduate to
submit their dissertation despite perceived readiness as we are grateful for
all submissions.

I have attached more pertinent information to this email, including details
on the award, qualifications, and how to apply. I hope that you can alert
anyone who may be interested. If there are any questions, please email
Alison Syring ( mailto:asyring2@illinois.edu asyring2@illinois.edu). Thank
you for your time.

Best wishes,
Kacey Nguyen
