Today, I am writing to see if you know of any American (or Japanese) young women, or persons who identify as women, among the DREAM community who would be interested in participating in our Women Leading Together: Solidarity in Storytelling Story Jam program? This is a 9-week online program to explore experiences of marginalization at school, work, or other areas of life (such as relationships, family, and community), learn leadership skills, and build community with other women from Japan and the US through digital storytelling. Our goal is to provide a space for diverse women to share their stories and acknowledge the complexity of their lives. The program, which is sponsored by the US Embassy in Tokyo, is not disability specific but inclusive of women with disabilities.
