Warmly, Christa Invitation to Participate in Research: Improving Disability Related Discussion in PreKindergarten-12 Classrooms Hello! If you identify as having a disability and are age 18 or over, we hope that you will consider participating in our research survey, conducted by a team at Villanova University. The purposes of this survey are (1) to better understand the experiences of disabled individuals during their PreK-12 experiences as related to disability-related discussion, and (2) to learn from insights they have for teachers who would like to discuss disabilities in their PK-12 classrooms. Our perspective aligns with the social model of disability, and we believe that it is necessary for work about disability in K-12 schools to be informed by the perspectives of those who identify as disabled.
