Just a friendly reminder that the DREAM student group at the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) hosts online chats for undergrads and grad students with disabilities.  The groups include people with a variety of disabilities, chronic illnesses, and mental health conditions, as well as those who are culturally Deaf.  Facilitators are open to having students bring questions or a topic they’d like to discuss.

All chats have captioning, but let us know (DREAM@ahead.orgmailto:DREAM@ahead.org) if you need interpreters.

Undergrad Chat: Students meet to talk about their experiences as undergraduate students with disabilities.  It meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 Central time.  The Zoom link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85187506939 (no password).

Grad Chat: Students meet to talk about their experiences as graduate students studying disability and/or being a disabled graduate student.  It meets the first and third Thursday of each month, 12 months of the year, at 3:00 Central Time.  The Zoom link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89290535107 https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89290535107 (no password).

Please share widely.  Hope to see you there!

I acknowledge, with respect, that I live and work on traditional, ancestral, and contemporary lands of Indigenous people, including the Anishinaabe, Chippewa, Ojibwe, Dakota (including the Mdewakanton Sioux), Northern Cheyenne, and the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe.  I affirm tribal sovereignty and will work to hold myself, my workplaces, and my affiliations accountable to American Indian peoples and Nations.
