Most of them fall under disability and communication, neurodiversity and representation, and/or neurodiversity and queerness. They just finished a PhD in interdisciplinary neuroscience. While Alyssa’s dissertation wasn’t related to any of their neurodivergences, their other coursework and research sometimes was. This was systemically awkward, and if they can’t make it *stop* being systemically awkward, Alyssa would like to at least make everyone else feel it too.
