Good afternoon,

We write to share with everyone a Call for Submissions for a special section of Lateral: Journal of the Cultural Studies Association: "Crip Pandemic Life: A Tapestry." “Crip Pandemic Life” seeks to build a living archive/tapestry composed of evidence that explores and articulates experiences of our survival, grief, loss, joy, and pain through crisis. We seek proposed submissions in the form of reflections, ephemera, creative meditations, and other types of evidence of crip living and surviving the pandemic. In the wake of escalating and ongoing precarity and loss, our call uplifts the question: what do we need to not forget? For the full CFP, please see the following link: (http://csalateral.org/upcoming/#cripistemologieshttps://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcsalateral.org%2Fupcoming%2F%23cripistemologies&data=04%7C01%7Capatsa2%40uic.edu%7C2e73d382f6c94bd483c808d940b264d3%7Ce202cd477a564baa99e3e3b71a7c77dd%7C0%7C0%7C637611957203297080%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=0YD07U2YG7zamgY8cG39InZ5qHVZmM5kzw%2FVmkVcQFg%3D&reserved=0).

In short, we want evidence of/from your crip life over the last year. See the full CFP for more details and descriptions about the forms this evidence can take.

Submissions of 250-word proposals are due to section co-editors Theodora Danylevich and Alyson Patsavas at crippandemiclifecfp@gmail.commailto:crippandemiclifecfp@gmail.com by August 15, 2021. Please let us know if you have any questions about the call or submissions.

We would also greatly appreciate your help in circulating the call within any of your relevant networks and community.

Thank you,

Theodora and Aly
